Immediately after the production of stored Architectural drawings, the structural Engineer is brought on board to design the structural elements of the structure. This is in fulfillment of the council requirements to move hand in hand with the Architectural drawings.

The structural Engineer incorporates both dead and live loads depending on the functionality of the structure, to come up with the concrete mix, thickness of the slab, sizes of reinforcement, columns and foundation bases.

The Engineer goes ahead to carry out supervision of the structure in order to reduce on the discrepancy between the design and the implementation processes which is based on an arrangement with the client.

In cases where the client has got an existing structure with a bigger plan of an additional floor, extension, demolition of part element, the structural Engineer is helpful in the investigation of works upon agreement with the client.
